METHODS YOU CAN INSPECT

Research tools and reproducibility

These tools demonstrate research methods and provide inspectable outputs. The implementation repositories and private research library are maintained privately. This page explains how to reproduce the methods using your own inputs.

Disclosure Gap Calculator

Open the calculator or explore its pipeline.

  1. Use comparable English disclosure passages. Retain your original texts separately.
  2. Select and record the word lists. The starter vocabulary is illustrative; research users should obtain the official Loughran–McDonald dictionary from its authors and follow its terms.
  3. Count exact category matches. Each category rate is 100 × matching tokens / total tokens. Net tone is the positive rate minus the negative rate.
  4. Subtract disclosure B from A. Tone differences use percentage points. Inspect word matches, text length, and readability separately.
  5. Export the result with its dictionary, version, and input fingerprints. Equal inputs should produce zero differences; swapping inputs should reverse their signs.

A language difference does not establish contradiction, deception, causality, or investment value. Text analysis occurs in your browser.

Finance & Economics Literature Lab

Open the lab or explore its pipeline.

  1. Define a topic, journal range, and time window. Record the catalog snapshot and search filters.
  2. Inspect title and abstract matches, then open the original DOI links. Missing abstracts remain missing.
  3. Separate each paper's main idea, setting, methods, findings, and limitations. An abstract is not equivalent to reading the full paper.
  4. Compare findings in context. Distinguish author-reported limitations from your own proposed extensions.
  5. Check a proposed direction against newer work and citation chains. Inspect data feasibility and identification assumptions before treating it as a research gap.
  6. Download the shown references as CSV, text, RIS or APA. APA uses Crossref formatting; missing metadata is not invented. Compare papers is coming soon.

The public catalog contains bibliographic metadata and search terms from available abstracts. It does not contain the owner's private PDF library or unpublished research datasets. Live synthesis, when available, sends the topic and selected source abstracts to the model provider; do not enter confidential topics.

Public project repositories

Explore the Literature Lab overview and evidence template and the Disclosure Calculator overview and teaching example. These selected materials make the methods easier to reproduce. Complete implementation and private research remain private.

Access and collaboration

Public demonstrations and method descriptions are available here. For a specific replication or collaboration request, contact me and describe the material you need. Access to private implementation or research material is considered separately.
